string http_post_data ( string $url , string $data [, array $options [, array &$info ]] )

Performs an HTTP POST request on the supplied url.

See the "superglobal" arrays $_POST['varname] and $_REQUEST['varname'] for how to access Post variables. http://www.php.net/manual/en/language.variables.predefined.php #language.variables.superglobals (had to break the URL so I could post it.)
